We are planning a trip through the Namib desert and I would like to fit 4 spacers to my Pajero GLX 2011 suspension(springs) to give it a bit more ground clearance
Any assistance of where I can buy besides Stofpad would be appreciated ?
Thanks

Stofpad. Why do you not order from him and courier it?

Hi Cats,

I can, at about R800 per spacer.....

I would like to find out if there is not a supplier in the Western Cape as the last time I bought spacers(about 2009) I paid about R200 a spacer but that company stopped making then.... :( :(

These spacers are made by Stofpad, we used my Pajero as the prototypes when he started making them.

I don't think you will find spacers anywhere else in SA for the Pajero.

Thanks Nismo,

I thought so as I ran into a dead end with all the other companies :? :?

Any recommendation of who can install it in the Belville area ?

Try autoquip in Durban road, they are pretty jacked. The 4 wheel alignment will have to be redone, which they do as well.

I had CATS old stofpad spacers fitted to my previous Pajero, must say it is a quality item.

The spacers in my "new" car was fitted by SA Value Engineering Fitment Centre (10 Leo Road, Diep River) in 2011. Not sure if the still do it but try calling them on 021 705 1939 or 082 661 6762.

Ja ja ... that diesel clatter is becoming more reassuring as time wears on. I have managed to turn down the Rockford Fosgate system to 30 without cringing :) 8km/l in urban driving and as high as 12-13km/l at steady legal cruising speeds ... that sounds good ... almost as good as the V6 :)
