Hi guys..

Hope I'm posting in the right place here.

I am looking for a temperature sender unit.. I cannot find anything from the motor spares shops in my area. They all keep telling me to go to the dealers and i really don't want to. And I'm on the verge of dropping R500 for an aftermarket gauge.

Im in the Melville Jo'burg area.. If anyone has any ideas, or simply knows where I can get one.. Please let me know.

Been driving for a month now with no idea how hot the motor is.. I know is isn't over heating.. But freaky things do happen.

Thank you

Jimmy(Insidious)

Hi there Nick..

Its the the unit the is only really accessible by removing the Intercooler. It screws straight into the water jacket/chamber, nearer the front of the motor.

Where are you based?

Try diesel electric, Probe Corporation or trysome auto electrical here in Cape Town. 0219451453 - trysome.

Thank you for the advise.

I'm based in Johannesburg, the Melville area. Just recently moved.

Hi
I recently replaced the same sensor which I sourced from the agents for about R125.
Had it available within two days.
