Hi all.

I own a 1996 Gen2 LWB, 295000km on the odo.

Not sure of the history of the shocks and suspension components.

Recently this lovely vehicle of mine has developed squeaking noises when climbing a curb or going over bumps or even just general driving.

Is there perhaps any serviceable components on the suspension front and rear with regards to grease points?

All the suspension rubbers seem to be in good order.

I've got the same model and have been sitting with all sorts of suspension noises since I bought the car 2 years ago. I've replaced the shocks and all the ball joints, however the noises ate still there. It was only coming from the front in the beginning but now I've got noises that are coming from the middel and back. I've sprayed everthing down below with Q20, but it does not want to go away. It is worse when the car is cold. If anyone has any suggestions please share them. It is a lovely car and this is realy the only irritation I have with it.

This happens to my Navara, and it can drive me crazy.

Fine dust gets between the rubber and chassis on the chassis mounting bolts. Q20, Tool in a Can nor WD40 solves it. Only taking them out and grease them with copper grease solves it for about six months, then it's all over again. (3 minute job, but you need a lift).

I don't know if this will solve your problem, but worth a try.
