Handbrake On/Off Switch & Electric Mirrors
Good Day All :) ,

On a 98' LWB Pajero,

Does anybody know where exactly the switch for the handbrake is located (i have not yet opened up the console). The light stays on once you have taken the brake off and i suspect it is just a sticky switch :? .

Also, the electric mirrors have stopped working and i have checked all fuses and they are fine, any ideas what it could be?

Regards :)

Hi Dennis

Have you checked if your brake fluid level is OK? The red brake light is often used for both hand-brake and low brake fluid warning.

Wing-mirrors, not sure which fuse it is exactly, but check all of the fuses under the steering wheel, possibly it would work on the electric windows circuit? Pull all the fuses and make sure they are seated correctly, have not blown and are of the correct Amperage rating.
