Can anybody post some picture of how the cover at the rear of a Gen4 fits and works. Was not available for the Gen3.

Thanx it is for a LWB. From the pics I see that the fittings are moulded into the sidepanels correct?

This means that I will have to make another plan to do something similar in my car.

Thanx for the photos

Jbeez, Im not sure I understand.

Yes the two plastic mouldings that run down either side of the boot area are bolted to the side panels. The cover clips into it near the seat backs and then when you roll it out, you clip it in at the other end of the moulding.

You mention a Gen 3. My Gen 3 has a very similar arrangement and I was under the impression that all Gen 3's had it fitted.

Johan Bredell.

The Gen 3 has a similar cover except it does not connect with the rear seatbacks. I bought my cover about 5 years ago at a Mitsubishi (Pajero) spares outlet in Pretoria.

Johan,

Second part of the info - I forgot to include it!!

The arms down the sides of the Pajero are included in the cover kit. The kit also includes the screws and other hardware as well as a template to guide you where to make holes in the side covers. The female screw holes are already installed in the metal work behind the side covers.

Interesting! I never knew this was available for the gen3, never mind that it was actually available at the dealers! Thanks for sharing Cloyd. You dont perhaps still have the part numbers to be posted here for prosperity do you?

Cats,

I should have it somewhere on my first Pajero file - the second file is about full. Give me some time, will have a look and inform the club.

So was it not standard fitment on the Gen 3's then ?

My 2006 GLS has one and I just assumed it was standard. Or was it only the GLX's that didn't have it.

Correct Cloyd, on the Gen 3 it doesn't attach to the seatback, but if you recline the seatbacks close to the roller, you van get the latches on the back of the seat to rub on the roller and creak driving you crazy for many Km's :D
