My Paj started some loud squeaking and knocking on the right front during a recent trip to Moz. Suspected the shock but closer inspection revealed some very worn suspension parts.
Need to replace the following on the front:
- Upper ball joint
- Lower ball joint
- Rack ends
- Tie rod ends
- Control arm bushes upper and lower.
Rear:
Trailing arm bushes
I have been able to source all the components except the control arm bushings. Stealers want to sell you the whole control arm.
Can someone please help with sourcing these?

I have to replace mine as well due to a knocking noise on Acceleration and Braking.
I have already spent a fortune replacing parts to eliminate the noise. In the end I took it to Haydn in Pmb and he recons its the Control arm bushes.
Someone else here got theirs from a place in Nelspruit

I also found this place in Kokstad:
http://www.adcomponents.co.za/
Note, both places sell the bushes made of Polyurethane, not rubber as per the OE ones so the properties may not be identical.
I cannot help further as I have yet to order mine (after another payday) so please keep us updated with your progress.

I had the control arm bushes done in Nelspruit. They were rubber and the guys pressed them into the arms on site.
I have been giving this issue some serious thought. If you guys so wish, then I'll be willing to meet you in Nelspruit on a weekend and take "control" of your car and hand it in and collect from the repair shop. You can catch Citybug back to Gauteng and return the following weekend with Citybug and (try to) get your fixed car from me again.
