The passenger side mirror of my Gen4 seems to have a problem - when trying to adjust the mirror electronically using the rocker switch, the mirror can be adjusted up and down, but not left or right. The motor inside the mirror housing "runs" for the up/down adjustments, but not for the left/right adjustments. I suspect a loose connection, but where do I start looking? (the mirror fold away function works without any problems).

Anybody that can help with some ideas?

Try pop the panel out and check the connecting plug, hopefully just a dodgy connection. To get the panel out just shove a plastic spatula/egg lifter into the gap and force it upwards, the little white clips should just pop it up. Don't be scared to use a bit of force but don't break anything
