Hi There

I have noticed a small oil leak on my garage floor and on inspection found a drop of oil on the cowling (looks like a tin can, see attached pdf with red arrows showing the point of leak) just before where the prop shaft enters the transfer case. I cleaned it and unfortunately it has re-appeared.

1.0 Is my assumption correct that it must be a seal between the transfer case and the front prop shaft? See attached pdf drawings

2.0 I replaced the transfer case oils last year and is it possible that I over filled the transfer case and now the leak.

3.0 Is this a do it yourself fix and if so anything I need to know before attempting the fix

4.0 Is the oil seal readily available

5.0 Would this only leak if I was in 4x4?

Any good advice woul be appreciated.
