With no TiTD this year, is there any interest in a GTG. If so, should it be ?

A normal weekend, Friday and Saturday night with the option of a Sat night only

A recognised trail

Rough roads to a destination

A resort type

Bush camping type

So 1st off, should we plan ?

2nd, what month ?

GTG - Get ToGether

TITD - Tie In The Dots - an event that Roelf used to arrange annually in Barberton but Roelf has moved over to a dark side.... Image

Hmm, it's starting to look good

Clarens/Fouriesberg area

Chalets, plus camping.... just waiting for prices now for camping.

Info from e mail

"We have an informal camping area with shady trees, green lawns and a modern ablution
Also an under roof lapa with braai facilities
For when it rains

We have 4x chalets that sleep 30 guests in total
2x units with a double bed, en-suite bathroom, kitchenette in each unit and a cottage that sleep 6. 1x double bed, 2x single beds and a bunker bed (this one is very open plan)
All the above is R350 per person per night

Then We have a rondawel with 2x single beds and the old Farm School with 4x single beds
Linen and towels included
These 2 places make use of ablution and communal kitchen in the lapa for shower and cooking

The 4x4 route is rated 4 out of 5 in difficulty
You can use a detour if you prefer not to go through the obstacles
The is one area where you can braai with a look out point but it is quite narrow- (not recommended for a large group)

Let me know if you would like to book
