Pajero io Brake pads & cam belt help needed

Hello all, i recently bought a pajero io just to find out the thing wasnt serviced, brake pads wasnt replaced & cam belt or timing belts wasnt replaced. The service is not that exspensive but the fan belt & brake pads is almost R7000. Is there anyone who know where I can get it cheaper than buying it from a agent? Your help would really be appreciated. Fielies

Hi Fielies,
Have you tried the spares shops like Midas , Auto Zone etc. What part of the country are you in?

This is a problem whenever you buy a second hand vehicle! You'll never know what to replace and what to expect under the hood or any defective parts unless you check every bit of it before driving it home.
