Hi all re my previous post replace dash globes. Well got from Agents decide to replace them. This is where other problems arose. Replaced took Pajero out found speedo didn't work. Temp guage showing needle on red. Water was at normal temp not boiling. Did investigation found a post from Pajero guru. Informed that a resistor on printed circuit board had a dry joint. So I resoldred resistor he then went on to say after refitting circuit board. Remove perspex cover press around LCD listen for clicks. Test by moving speedo needle if drops down all good. Who would have thought replacing globe lead to these other jobs. Hope helps I thought all sorts when temp went into red

I had issue with an erratic fuel guage, I re-soldered the resistor on the back if the circuit board since cold joints are a common problem, now my fuel gauge works.

Problem now is my speedo stays at 80km/h and takes long to come down, also ill drive at 20 and it shoots straight up to 80.

Any idea what it could be? I doubt it was the speed sender unit as it was working fine a few days ago.

Is it worth mentioning that I replaced some dash bulbs ?
