Good evening,

I'd like to try and get some advise.

I am having trouble with my cruise control with the following symptoms:
Firstly it does not always engage, as soon as I push the lever to engage the cruise control the light comes on and when I let go it goes of immediately.
When it does engage it does not disengage when pressing the clutch, it only disengages when pressing the brakes.
Furthermore on the occasion when it is running it would sometimes disengage intermittently, and this is not due to extra load on the motor it could be flat road or even a downhill and it would disengage.

I would really love some help on this.

I suggest you contact a mechanic for advise, try Arnold at Mitsitech or Henk De Klerk at Pajero Maintenance Services in Pretoria North.
