Hi,

I bought my PJ SWB LEGEND NEW 2014 with a fitted exstra tyre pressure monitor. Only 2/4 is functional and i went to Somerset West MITSU for replacements - a dead end . There is no brand name on the monitor.

Q:
where can i get a manual
where do i buy new sensors

Appreciate

I have external tyre monitors (Tiremoni) and each sensor cap has small battery. I would assume in your case the sensors are mounted inside the rim (as you have ben informed) and you would have to get the tyres removed so that you can get to the sensors and change the batteries. That is the reason I chose the Tiremoni as everything is external.

By the way one of best investments I have made for the car and thinking of upgrading to a 6 x sensor model as I now tow a caravan and got a puncture in the Kruger National Park and did not know about it until a friend spotted it when we stopped to look at some game.

OE Mits used a Valour system which I bought aftermarket and fitted to my Gen3 which I have since sold. It is a good system and the components are available. Google Valour. One of the tire dealers were the SA Valour agents and were very helpful.

See if yours matches the generic Chinese varieties. Otherwise, they're cheap enough to treat as disposable.
