Engine pressure wash, now an electrical issue. Please help

I pressure washed the engine bay of my Gen 3 3.2 Did SWB. Yes I know it's a stupid thing to do.

On starting up the following did not work; RV Meter, interior lights, remote locking, radio. Both ABS and traction control lights stayed on.

Whilst moving the car, it seems to be getting sporadic connection with these coming on for very short bursts. I reasoned that water was causing it and left it to dry.

Towards the end of a 30 minute drive the next day it all came back on and the ABS/TC lights went out. I now presumed all was well.

Next morning whilst loading the car, about 3 minutes into doing this with the ignition off, the interior light went off and the same issues started again, but this time nothing ever came back on and I am left without those functions now.

I presume it must be 2 circuits that are affected;
1 - That runs independent to the ignition as the interior lights and remote locking are affected.
2 - That is connected with the ignition to the radio and RV Meter

I checked all the fuses in the engine bay and all is good there. I am only left with the presumption that a ground/negative/earth has gone dry.

I hate electrical issues, any insights/help?

Has this happened to you or is there a thread on the forum that has had similar issues?

Did you check the fuses under the steering column?

I've checked the fuses under the steering column - what a pain in the arse to get them back in!

Mine is a 2006. Does anyone have a schematic for where all the groundings/relays are?

So irritating!

Sorry for hijacking this thread but I need to ask Kurt whether there is someone in Jozi, preferably Northern Area who could check my Pajero . I have a short and soift clattering noise (suspension, shocks ?) from the front, mostly when driving away from rest . Sounds like something mechanically is aligning itself after going from rest to driving off. Otherwise all systems are working perfectly but I need someone with suspension experience to have a look and listen and point a finger.
Thanks Kurt

Surely someone has had something similar?
