It seems my sunroof isnt sealing properly, esp at the left rear of the sunroof, with the shade open I can see light through, this isnt correct surely.

Looking from above I see that at the front the glass is level with the roof, but at the rear it is slightly down from the roof surface, which probably explains the light (and water?) coming through...

Not having another to compare to, just need to check what it should be like before I send it in. Hopefully the maintenance plan also covers this.

Just to confirm:
The sunroof on my SWB is flush with the roof when closed.

The mechanism pushes the sunroof up into position when closing. One must suspect that your's doesn't push high enough. Maybe it can be adjusted, or maybe something is bent.
