Since Im a noob in the Pajero world, I thought Id ask some newbie questions.
Both my father and I own 3.2DID SWB vehicles, his being a 2004 and mine a 2002.
1. What is the difference between the GLS (mine) and my dads that does not have any GLS or GLX badge on it ?
2. Why does mine have rear diff lockers and his does not ? Meanwhile his has anti skid option.
3. Any common cause for the engine management and anti skid/traction control light to come on together at random times while driving then it goes out ?
4. Where can one check if the passenger heated seat function does not work?
5. Anyone have a reliable link for owners manuals fir the two vehicles?
6. What do all the abbreviations stand for on the 4wd lever ?
7. Since manual vehicles are more fuel effecient than auto, would it help improve fuel consumption if I drive the car in sport shift (trip tronic) mode ?
8. What mods can I do to improve fuel efficiency ?
9. If I floor it when wanting to overtake do I risk damaging the auto gearbox ?
10. Why everytime when you start the vehicle, the center computer/compass consol asks you to select your vehicle type i.e- swb or lwb diesel etc..
11. On my 2002 the green 4x4 lights for the rear wheels dont go on even when engaging the vehicle in 4x4, could the bulbs be burnt or is it something different ?
