Hello Pajero people

I recently - and rather unexpectedly - acquired a 2008 Pajero SWB 3.8 GLS (Gen 4?) with about 120 000 km on the clock. As a newbie to Pajeros and this club. I'm looking forward to participating and sharing info where I can

The car has some electrical issues with locking/unlocking and the steering wheel controls. I'm also interested in replacing the antiquated and indecipherable radio system (the designer must have been popping shrooms) with a modern infotainment/iPhone/Android type setup.

Can anyone here recommend a Pajero electrics guru in the general Randburg, Joburg area?

Give Rivonia Car Sound a try, heard a few people have used them successfully. The other option is a place like Planet Electronics.

It also sounds like your clock spring needs to be replaced to sort out the steering controls issue.

There is another one , called MOTOR MUSIC, in Dunkeld ....they are on the web.
Con: Whenever you come there there is sort of chaos, not much parking and always full but they are also very good.

Unfortunately Motor Music in Dunkeld may have closed down, but I should be driving past there soon and will look for it.
