Does anyone have fuel consumption figures between driving in 2WD vs 4WD ?

It seems that a lot of Pajero drivers prefer to drive in 4HI rather than 2HI.

The fuel savings are not noticeable.

Everywhere else is beneficial. So why not?

Mitsubishi may as well have removed the 2H 2 decades ago, saved headaches, lives, and reliabilty, and made the system simpler in my humble opinion.
