Hi All,
I have had endless problems with my front and rear brakes because of fitting aftermarket disks and pads.
I have now had factory disks and pads fitted and now my brakes are perfect again, HOWEVER ! they squeel like a pig being slaugtered
both in reverse and forward braking
What could the problem be and how do i resolve this issue?

Slow speed, i.e. reversingand stop starting or normal/all speeds ?. Most likely you will have to remove the discs and clean again. And I mean clean, use a rotary brass brush on the mounting surfaces and till yer can see no dirt, and I mean no dirt. A thin smear of Copper Slip and Bob'e yer monkeys uncle.
Have you put Copper Slip at the back of the pads, where the shims fit/contact points and and the sliding bolts of the calipers. Polish these pins until they are as smooth as a babies bum and the flexiable seals are in good condition.
Throughly clean and reclean everything, get a couple of Brake Cleaner sprays from any decent spares shop, a thin coating is all you need, any more and you run the risk of it splattering going onto to the actual braking surface, grease and brakes are not good bed fellows. Ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies.

Hope you come right.

Same problem.
2015 GLS Exceed.
Replaced at agents just before service plan expired at 100 000 km. Been back 3 times, friendly service, but no solution.
It's still screaming like a pig, especially when cold, and low speed forward or reverse. Will try the Copper Slip !

Mine are the original discs and have done 165.000 kms and in near perfect condition. But as you get older you get slower, yes the bus will go fast, but do you really want to stop 2 tonnes of metal that is not really designed to stop in a hurry, at speed ?, laws of physics and moments about a force coming into play. Normal speeds yes. Pads I get an average of 80.000 kms out of them, and to change both sets on the front, maybe 3 hours including coffee and toilet breaks. I hope you come right with the noise.

I have had good success with manually chamfering the pads
