1. After reading the many questions and the resultant answers, I decided that I must show club members how I changed mine. I can honestly say that the lights are very effective both during day time and at night.
2. Here is my effort:
Im planning the same thing, did you remove the reverse lights?
What about the left foglight?
What about the left foglight?
1. The reverse lights still work like normal. I fitted an extra bulb in the reverse light. The fog light still operates as designed by Pajero. Cloyd
Cloyd, Reading through some of the older posts I came across this one of yours. I have installed normal globes in the "dummy" positions but the light is very dim. Question....which truck lights did you use to, and do they give "Park" and "brake" light?
Vickaa,
The lights that I used I bought are available at any of the general spares outlets - MIDAS, Action Spares, etc. Unfortunately for me, there are much better lights aviable on the market these days. I looked at a new light a few days ago and this one has brake, stop and indicator in one housing.
All the lights work in my mod - stop, tail, indicator, reverse (these two are in the "clear section of the light) and rear fog light.

Cloyd, Thanks but I still have questions. There are basically two sizes of truck lights, small and large...the large ones seemed to be to big for the mod??? and I cannot find the small ones in "park and brake" configuration. The lights you are mentioning (three in one) are most cool... I was contemplating using the centre clear light as a indicator....am I wrong in my assumption on the size.
Vickaa,
I am of the opinion that all the round lights are the same size - approx 100 mm across - but I can be wrong. Something to remember - if you plan to use the three in one light the Pajero tail light lens cover is red with the result that all your lights will be red!! It is for this reason that I used the top clear lens for reverse and indicators (with a yellow bulb naturally) to get the correct colour.
The question by somebody else: The Pajero only has one rear fog light and it is part of the right hand unit and in my setup works as per normal.
