How to switch off ABS in Gen3

Hi All
As you know, ABS has numerous advantages. One disadvantage is braking on an very muddy dirt road.
As far as I understand, the ABS system monitors wheel turn and releases the brakes the moment the wheel locks(Stop turning). On a muddy road, the friction of the mud is so low that every time the brake pads start braking, the wheels lock, and ABS then release the wheel. The result is that you can actually hear your ABS working but your vehicle just keep going forward and don’t brake at all (or brake very slowly).
The alternative would be to switch off your ABS system. This will then allow your wheels to lock, which in mud will have a better braking result than the ABS system has.
My question is how do I switch of my ABS? I know that some 4X4 vehicles engaging the diff lock switches the ABS off.
At every 4x4 track we did in the past, the ABS light came on, which I assume means my ABS system is disabled. Unfortunately, this was never done on purpose, so yesterday in the mud, I tried to switch of my ABS by engaging first to only 4x4, then to 4x4 with rear diff locked, then to 4x4H(central and rear diff locked) and then to 4x4L(central and rear diff locked). With all this locked and engaged setting, the ABS system still kicked in when I did brake tests in the mud.
Must probably there is a very simple answer and I'm going to have a blond moment, but can anybody please tell me how to switch off my ABS system?
Regards,
