Noizy front brake brake calipers
I recently changed front and rear disc pads. The caliper pins ( with grease inside the holes) seem worn as the pins are loose inside the outer caliper shell......Agents ask R2000 for the front four replacement pins and little rubber boots.
How loose should the pins be in the holes? what grease do I use in the holes. the upper and lower pins seem different dimensions and sizes...is that correct.?...comments welcome please
Re: Noizy front brake brake calipers
Copper Slip or any decent brand of Anti Seize Compound. NEVER EVER use grease, you will find out soon enough if you do.
Wear on the pins ?, If you can measure the clearance, then it's too much. Should be a "reasonable" sliding fit.
