Apologies if this has been asked before, I did a quick search and couldn't find anything. Does anyone know where I can get a black bash plate that says Pajero?

Yes, there is a guy near Pretoria, laser cut, beautifully made, I'll get the details and forward them on to you. I got the front and gearbox plates. BUT BE WARNED, this stuff is well made, and heavy. DO NOT ATTEMPT to fit it one your own. I did and, don't laugh, got TRIGGER FINGER IN MY RIGHT THUMB. From trying to hold it in position with one hand and trying to put the bolt in with the other. get help and it will go much easier. Trust me on this. if you don't believe me do a search for "trigger finger". It's friggin painful.

On that note how cool is this ?. Really puts into perspective how small and insignificant we really are in the universe.

I would appreciate that, and thanks for the advice. Sounds very painful, so I will take caution.

Absolutely we are merely a spec in the bigger picture.

I've already contacted these guys, they don't have any for the Gen 4, only Gen 3. Did you get one for a Gen 4 from them?

Don't quote me on this but I think the Gen 3 and 4 are one and the same. I can't see Mitsubishi making changes to the chassis, why don't you have a drive there if possible and ask them to see if if would fit ?. Put a couple of hours aside and go and see. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. OH, if you have a "bush bar" be prepared to remove it to get the front plate to fit. Annoying but there it is.

Mine is a Gen 3.
