Hi all,
Need some advice please. I have a problem with my Pajero io (4g18 engine - 1.6l) over heating. I have just recently done the cylinder head gasket, replaced thermostat, replaced radiator cap and flushed the radiator. Has reduced the over heating somewhat but still at times the temperature gauge goes over the half way mark. My mechanic says the temperature of the the in and out pipes to the engine are not the same temperature so suspects the lower pipe of being a little blocked? Before the radiator flush, the radiator had a lot of rust type water in it. Not sure if this has contaminated some of the pipes? Any advice on where else to look for the cause of the problem?
