Hi All,

My father has a 2004 Pajero 3.2 DiD SWB (3rd Gen) with about 340 000Kms on the clock. It has been regularly serviced and has not had any major mechanical issues. I would like to keep the vehicle in the family and available for him to use - are there any issues to look out for or preventative maintenance I can perform?

A tin of Liqui Moly super diesel additive to a full tank of diesel does wonders to clean the pump valves and injectors.
I have the same model and when pushed hard on the revs in 4th it tends to go in labour mode at about 3000RPM.
That problem seems to be cleared after 2 treatments. Compared to the price of a dieselpump rebuild this is peanuts
