My one headlight (dim lamp) on gen 4 has packed in(HID Xenon 35 watt), tested the lamp on the other side and it works, fuse is OK.
Is the only other possibility the ballast?
Where to get replacement?
Would LED conversion be an option?

There a quite a few options available, but my suggestion is to head over to Midas and ask them about Osram options. Most posts I have seen on FB offer a variety of lights, but I would not trust buying any make.

Having to replace both left and right headlights for Pajero 2013 3.2 DID GLS LWB A/T EXCEED.
Bad experience with 2nd hand car dealership - current aftermarket headlights don’t work.
I have been told that there are various components that may not be working and that the entire headlight does not need to be replaced. Is this true?

The contradiction is that I took the car to a Mitsubishi dealership for a full vehicle inspection. In the report they state that the reflection is due to aftermarket parts and that the entire unit has to be replaced. They worked on the car for 2 hours trying to align the lights.

I would like to know the facts and welcome advice.
