I have a 99 3.5 lwb pajero. I have this issue where i can smell exhuast fumes when driving with the windows down. There is no smoke visible just the strong smell. But only when yhe window/s are down.
I took it to an exhaust place and they told me there was a crack in the drivers side manifold, which the claimed to have repaired. I also had both exhaust boxes replaced but there is still a smell.
Does anyone know what could be causing this?
