Just wondering where i could find a list of fault codes and a few lines on what each mean? any ideas?

Is your engine warning light on? If not, the errors are probably transient. How did you read the error codes?

i had my 3.2 Di D on the machine yesterday, this is what they found and explained to me:
43- Injection firing solenoid valve
52- Boost pressure control valve faulty
51= EGR - Exhaust position sensor open on short circuit (they blocked it off)

Calvin, my engine light comes on sometimes. But my Paj is running terrible. The codes were read at midrand turbo and diesel. due to code 43 they said my Injector / fuel pump had gone and needed a recon one at R23k... hence me wanting to investigate further!!

Was your Paj running badly? and what did your mechanics advise re your fault codes?

I have a pajero GLX lxb 2005 3.2 DID
I have The following errors and need help desperatley to fix

My error codes are
43 41 31 52 51
after reseting them
The new errors are

31 CAN COMM.
52 VGT CONT.PRS.
51 EGR POS. SNSR

I have had the EGR valve blocked , and engine light comes on from time to time??

please can you advise me on how/what to do ??

someone mentioned a solenoid that might needs replacement to me over the weekend.

Did we find a solution to error codes, 31, 51, 52? I have the same problems. It is accompanied by a lot of white smoke from time to time and also a diesel knock. I don't know what is related and what not as this Pajero was bought as a non-runner. (3.2 Did)

Any stories on what happened to your codes will be helpful...

(And by the way my EGR is also blanked of - and that would explain 51 but not the smoke or disel knock - am I correct?)

since I am a network manager at a Mitsubishi distributor in Tunisia. I can help you a little bit by the attached diagnosis codes data sheet, for 4M41 engine 2000 - 2001, extracted from the workshop manual but unfortunately they are in French seen that this last one is our second official language. So, you can translate the needed code explanation sorry.
