Is this normal?

I noticed that my water in the resevoir is black. Its this normal out its it something I have to worry about?

hallo i would suggest you drain the water and replace with a mixture of anti freez and water, the mixture should be a greenish colour, if you still have a problem you might want to think about seeing your mechanic.

Its not really oily, it smells like coolant.

If I want flush the radiator, what coolant must I buy and how much?

Degrading rubber hoses will turn your water black.
Check the overflow hose.
You won't notice it in the radiator because it will mix and flow away.

I think I will replace the coolant fluid, what is the best make to buy and how many litre.

caltex extended life coolant is great. Mix to instructions with distilled water.

Just be sure all the previous coolant has been flushed properly as some coolants create a gel when mixed together that blocks radiators, small passages and heater matrixes.
