Hi All,
I recently bought a Gen 2 Pajero from Japan, unfortunately Japanese vehicles do not come with manuals, and as a result I could not figure out the function of the button that is in the attached photo. Can anyone with a Gen2 pajero or with knowledge of Pajeros assist by telling me what that switch is for.
Thanking you all in advance for your replies.
Regards
Lucky
That button retracts the aerial in case of bush or car wash etc. Unfortunately it was probably outsourced by mitsubishi to an italian or french company as most of those aerials fail early on and get replaced by aftermarket solid antennas, making that switch useless
Yip, the switch selects whether the electric aerial extends to full height or half height when the radio is turned on. The half height setting is not really that useful in terms of protection in the bush, but does help to clear low garage doors or parking garage entrances.

If all the guys with after market aerials used that little switch they would have still had their originals!
The OEM aerials had great reception, I wish I could find a second hand one.

Sorry to hear that but the original Grundig Radio/tape and the OEM aerial gave me reception almost everywhere I went.
That grundig is now in here, but the aerial is long gone.
