The Pajero Wave/Greeting Campaign
I have read a few post recently where Mitsu owners, especially Pajero owners, refer to the special kinship Land Rover owners share due to their vehicles.

Well, as of to today, I undertake to wave and greet all Pajeros that pass me on the road. - whether it's a Moz, Namib, Bots or RSA registration - except the ones with those Blue Bull nuts hanging underneath the towbar - those okes are on their own

We always wave at fellow Pajero owners, but some of those people look at you if you are mad, obviously they don't belong to the club.

This made me think that maybe we must develop a flyer to promote the club and board to Pajero owners.

If you keep a few in the cubby and slip it under the wiper (I hate it, but it does work) of parked pajero's, we may actually draw more to the party.

Anybody that is good with graphics that may want to run a proposal via SimonB?

I agree, which reminds me, I need to stick my windscreed banner on, and this has just helped me make up my mind (front/back) I'll go with the front, so If someone looks at me after waving at them, they'll see the banner (Hopefully)
and rush home and register

I also considered this in the past - I reckon Simon will have to give his input regarding the suggestion. Do we want to attract numbers or actual interested parties to the forum? Then again, the genuine interested ones will stay and those not will simply fade away.

We originally had a plan to print flyers to give to the service centres when Mitsu serviced their pajeros but they weren't keen on the idea, but then again the forum was only a couple of months old.

I generally just pop a licence disk sticker under the wipers, but it is something worth thinking about. We must just bear in mind we are not a "real" club as such so there might be certain expectations which we can't meet.

Simon,

Fair comment. We do not want to mislead anyone. We must think how to present the 'club' for what it is.

People do that there too? It's disgusting and very distasteful, I think!

It's a comprehensive information hub, with technical help, inspirational accounts and ideas, and a gathering place to make new friends with a common interest, ie their Pajeros.
