I have the SWB, and the seat does not move far enough forward to get in the back.
What can I do to modify this?

Do you mean it does not work as designed, ie it is broken? Or do you wish to alter the original design to gain even more access to the rear than the normal.
By the way, on which side of the road do you drive in NZ? Just want to confirm that the left front seat is the passenger seat. The driver seat does not go forward as much as the passenger seat by design on the Shorties.

We drive on the left hand side, same as SA. (The only difference in the road rules is when you turn left and someone approaching turns right, you have to give way)
I am not sure if it is designed to only go that far.
It does not appear to be broken, the back folds forward and the seat slides forward.
It does not give me a lot of space for putting the baby in the carseat.

Maybe first check it to a similar vehicle to see if it is stuffed. Maybe someone with a shorty on here could post a pic of theirs in the forward position.

I have figured how to move it further forward.
If you move the seat forward and then tilt it, it moves forward further.
Thanks for all the replies.
