Radiator
did my pejero's radiator over, day later the choke heater pipe burst.Fixed that and the next day the pipe connection
behind the engin starts leaking, now to fix this.Model of the story is to check all pipes on the cooling system.

Re: Radiator
Make sure you don't have pressure in the cooling system (gas leaking in = gasget failure)

Which is the correct cap 0.9 or 1.1? I have seen three 2.5 Colts with 1.1 caps on but also some with 0.9 on. The latter is the standard on most vehicles.

The dealer could not answer me either. They reckon it's personal choice, but you must make sure that the colling system is in good nick before fitting a 1.1 cap

By the way, A Colt radiator does not fit in the Pajero, to wide. Pity because an aftermarket unit is R 1 375 and an original is R2 860. To recore my copper radiator I was quoted R 4 300 and to replace at the dealers I was quoted R6 00 :o

Re: Radiator
As far as I can remember it should be the 0.9 bar cap, my Gen 2 did the same thing, bursting pipes and so on. But then we had the radiator cleaned and she was fine... You could however check your heater's radiator as well......
