I tried to apply a really nice POC South Africa sticker... but a microthin layer of ice made this impossible.. this is the coldest day thus this year.. it was only 26 F, but the windchill and freezing fog read 15 F...

Water always comes into the passenger side of mine before the driver's door....
Braved the cold.. went out... bought some cigarettes... went to thrift store and saw a ski rack for only $3.00, but my hands were too cold to adjust it to expand it outwards enough to see if it would fit on the rain gutters... maybe tomorrow.
Hey Nino 62,
Congrats on your choice of rubber, I was very undecided about the Cooper vs BFG scenario, but went with the new Cooper Discoverer STT's, also 31x105's, and they do look AWESOMe, and also not as noisy on road as I thought they would be.
Anyway,
This week-end, I stripped the front end off Bismark.
removed the Bull bar, bumper, winch controller & winch, only to paint them all back, excluding the winch controller.
I am AMAZED
at how easy it is to remove the bumper, I cleaned the outside temperature sensor
while I was at it, spotted the beginnings of rust on my Winch mount box, so just waiting for a price on sand-blasting & re-powder coating my bull-bar, (the bull bar, believe it or not, only weighs about 7Kg) another shocker
But now have to also put together more power cables, so I can mount my whinch solenoid box in the engine compartment
but do not want to use the space behind the battery, I need that for a 2nd battery.
Anyway, It was fun, me and Biskmark bonded some more, and now I know a bit more about him.

Hi Mcnoogle
Thanks for the response. Tried the Cooper STT's out for the first time at Outrekpad, this past weekend. The tyres worked GREAT.
I'm afraid I bit of more than I could chew, but, with some excellent support of my friend's 3.5 V6's help, we were soon back on the path again. Turned out to be a superb day. Tested the 4x4's newly reconditioned g/box........like a dream she went

I was bored and depressed, so I drove down to one of the canals and began following it until I reached a canyon area I'd never seen before. Unfortunately, like most of this stupid state, it's all barb wired and privately owned by ranchers and farmers with no public access..
Here are some pictures.
