Thanks NightFighter, for the wonderful & VERY handy torch prize. I'll be putting it to good use from the 16-19th December. Next 4x4 weekend away, in conjunction with my son's mountain biking 3-day trail - Leeuwensboschfontein (17.18.19).

Negativety and Non-enthiusiasm are the only obstacles we shouldn't encounter "

Very welcome Nino, any questions or help needed just gimmie a call on

To all those who could make it, thanks for coming, it was great to see such a good turnout,
I'll only get better from here.
To all those who couldn't, we'll be doing this again soon enough.
Also, thanks to Johan for scouting out the trail, heading up, and helping on the route,
thanks to Simon, for an AWESOME forum, (without which, this would not have been organized)
thanks to Aiden for the awesome 1st prize,
to 4x4 Megaworld for the 2nd prize,
and to Helderberg Plaas for a great venue.
To Anthony, & Anthony, it was good having them there too, and were definitely in the same 'Spirit' as us Pajero owners.
For me, as a 1st time off-roader, I am in Awe of the Pajero's (even more so than before) and must say, in the end, neither I, nor Aiden needed the toilet paper
I'm sure I speak for most of us when I say, 'Can't wait for the next event'
Early Arrivals:

On the way to the top:

Almost there: Better to drive up Helderberg than to Walk it.

hehe..no probs... my invoice for consulting is in the post.tonton wrote: Thanks Simon for plugging my tyre.
Just a reminder to everyone... tyre repair kit and compressor are essential part of your kit. Even Ned's heat and noise generator is better than nothing.

Eina, you must "maar" deduct it from the wheelcap.SimonB wrote:...hehe.. no probs... my invoice for consulting is in the post...

Thanks again, and believe me - a tyre repair kit is top on the shopping list now! The compressor is a bit more expensive, but you're right - it is an essential piece of equipment. Midas, here we come!
