Bought some drop plastic for some painting I'm going to do... I'd tell you all, but it's a surprise... and filled the cargo area with old cardboard and plastic in my garage and took it to the recycler...

I fitted a Cowley S/S free flow yesterday. OOoohhhh that V6 sounds good.
She's quiet as a mouse up to 3500 Rpm's then you know there's a V6 under that hood.

I packed out some more stuff after the move and found my last gel sticker. It has gone o to the rear window of the Gen3

Simon Bloomer
Not bad,
I was quoted about the same, if not a little more, but for Mild steel, although I was looking at 65mm pipes IIRC.
Congrats on your upgrade

I was looking at fitting the bash plate last night, but the i sheered the bolt right off somewhere. How the HELL
am I gonna get that thread out the hole??? should I try to drill it out and then just ft a bolt and nut, or re-thread the thing???
I also saw (oops) that I dent my cross member a little. So damn I'm glad I did the lift!!!

So, if id did'nt cost you an arm and a leg, what did it cost, and from whom, also, what is the plate thickness?nino62 wrote:.......and it didn't cost an arm & a leg !!!![]()
Hi Ned
I actually had ordered 4mm........was quoted for 4mm.......then, when I went for the third time to collect / have fitted, they had made it out of 3mm. I must say 3mm is not that bad....cost all of R950 - painted, new bolts & decent washers incl.....and in two sections, easily removed and / or replaceable sections.
Got my "Kirisun P4200" handhelds x2, new batteries & aerial also, just a 100mt or so, up the same road, in Brackenfel. ORRA frequencies PLUS, already set & tested @ R500 / radio, with charger. I see they have a good recommendation on the "4x4 Community" forum too.
Excellent pics and report, on your weekend trail. I'm sure you had firstly the PAJERO to praise......AND THE COOPER STT's
