My Pajero that got stolen at Big Bay in January were recovered by the Special investigation unit of the SAPS in Jhb
Today the insurer colected the car from the Police and I can buy it back at a good discount to what is currently available in the market
Unfortunately the insurer stil found perlemoen(abelony) in the car which means there will be a smell; What will the cost be to replace ALL the upholstery ?
Who in the Cape Town area can be recomended please?
Some people told me to walk away but I believe everything has a price !
I need to calculate this one

You can replace all the upholstery but things like the hood lining are a big mission to replace. What it is going to cost is a question that is difficult to answer but I can give you some advice on how to get rid of the smell. I had a similar incident a few years ago when it was still legal to have perlemoen. I went down to the cape for 10 days and on the last moment my weefe opened the washing machine door spilling a lot of water that ran under the deep freeze, as luck would have it there was a joint in the wire of the freezer that got soaked and tripped that circuit. to cut a long story short we came home to a deep freeze full of perlemoen, crayfish & SNOEK that had 10 days to mellow & mature and to turn to a mushy liquid that leaked out all over the floor and under the cupboards. We tried all the normal stuff and even went so far as to use chlorine and charcoal, nothing worked and we came to terms with writing off the freezer and revamping the laundry. At no 99 our maid came with a request to use vinegar which she placer in cups all over the laundry. IT WORKED the freezer was rescued and the laundry was given a second chance best of all my pocket was saved by a simple home remedy.

There is two places in the WC that specializes in upholestery restoration. One in Stellenbosch and one in Montague Gardens. They both belong to the same franchise. I'll have to dig for the name.

The one in MG quoted me R14 000 for a complete re upholster of the 7 seats, armrest and headrest. If interested I'll find the name for you
