Can someone help with some advice. I have a 1995 2.5 tubo diesel and need a new clutch fitted. Can anyone let me know where I can go to have this done. I am in Cape Town.

I also have a 2.5 Tdi, and I also had the clutch kit replaced, not too long ago (+-1500km ago).
The one important thing that I didn't know at the time, after I had the alternative kit fitted, I started to hear a "loose spring rattle" sound, when engine was idling. It dissapears as soon as clutch is pressed.
On enquiring about this slightly annoying noise, the w/s guys have told me it's because I should have fitted an ORIGINAL clutch plate.
They apparently don't give this noise problem, BUT....that the non-genuine clutch plate is OK to drive, as-is, and should give the SAME / SIMILAR lifespan service.... just a bit noisy.
I've put it through some rough testing, and have not picked up any adverse symptoms so far.

Cost of alternative clutch kit is approx. R1750-R1850. Don't have a clue what the agents ask ????
Maybe it would be worth looking into buying a genuine clutch plate, and fitting alternative pressure plate & release bearing ??
Just an additional suggestion, have your clutch slave cylinder checked / serviced, while you do the clutch replacement, and have the clutch fork dust / mud boot's integrity checked, at the same time. Also the fly wheel spigot bearing, and g/box front oils seal.

Replacing a clutch assembly is not difficult.
Removing and re-fitting the transmission and transfer case is the schlepp!
When replacing the assembly, I firmly recommend (much of what Nino said):

When replacing the assembly, I firmly recommend (much of what Nino said):
- remove the protection (bash) plates
- take the vehicle for a proper chassis wash, making sure they clean around the transmission and engine
- buy genuine Mitsu (the price difference is small)
- replace all the components while you have the opportunity:
- clutch plate
- pressure plate
- release bearing
- spigot shaft bearing
- rubber boots
- transmission mountings (rubber), if necessary
- borrow a clutch plate alignment (centering) tool from your local workshop, if there isn't one included in the clutch kit (see pics)
- have the flywheel's face skimmed, whilst it is out
- service the slave cylinder (or have it done)
- service the master cylinder

I don't have the facility to do the job myself so need info on who I can take it to.
I went to the agents and they can't say if they have in stock or not as it is an Australian import. So I need someone to take it out and if I can't get a replacment will have to have it rebuilt, if that is possible.
I will replace as much as possible whilst out.

If it's the same as my Botswana import, it's most likely the same as the Hyundai 2.5Tdi eng, & similar to the old Colts.
There is 95% chance that any general spares dealer WILL have the equivalent. I paid +-R1800-R1900, for the complete kit, at the begining of the year (just take your samples to them - Midas / Salt River, were able to help with mine).
JUST REMEMBER AS PREVIOUSLY ENTERED< MIGHT BE BETTER TO BUY THE GENUINE CLUTCH PLATE FROM THE AGENTS, they are sold as loose pieces, and the remainder at the general dealers.

I will get it taken out and take the sample to the agents first then if no joy to one of the others you mentioned. That is proberly the best way so not to get the wrong one.

If you wish to have someone else do the job, try ANG or Mitsu Tygerberg, both recommended here: Pajero Workshop Recommendations
Do get quotes first!
