Hi Achille,
I did see a nice pick (someone behind you) took, of me with my front wheels in the air, quite a nice pick in fact,
its already my Desktop background.
I must say..... good Italian coffee sounds good, and with the ample storage on my new phone (still need to also get a 32 Gig SD card) there will be more than enough space to get whatever I can from you.
Hopefully, when we go up to the west coast, if we go to the sand mine, we can take some more 'action shots'
Maybe we can look at even updating the Webs background and intro pics with some of these, 'if we can get some professional spec pics' showing actual club members with real action pics as apposed to pics sourced from the net & adds.
It would be a feather in POCSA's cap.
Cheers
Ned
Hi Ned
I do have a reasonable Nikon SLR camera, with 300 x 2 zoom lens (AND A FISH EYE LENS I'M EAGER TO EXPERIMENT WITH), which I think could adequately do a good job. Also have an Apple photo application, to enhance / edit photos, to remove excess glare / contrast / definition and such.
I'll be more than happy to edit all & any club / member photos and events / background photos, if there is no other better suited person/s available.

Negativety and Non-enthiusiasm are the only obstacles we shouldn't encounter "

Hi Achille,
I think its something we could look at, but probably best for you to build up a library of pics in the mean time,
I'm no expert (SLR is on my wishlist) I think we would obviously have to ask Simon what his criteria is for Pics,
but only once you have good quality pics to use specifically, i.e. a perfect shot of Captain Anton cruising at low altitude or the like.
I think we should move this topic to another thread when the time is right, as were going off topic here.
(Back on topic)
I'm hoping were going to have at least 6 vehicles for this outing.
Cheers

Sorry to hi-jack this thread, but have you guys seen "Meet in Cape Town for a few cold ones" thread?
Surely some of you guys can join us on sunday at Blue Peter?
Nico.

Hi Nico,
I saw it, I know it sounds lame, bit its a bit far out of my way at the moment I'm still so busy with things,
even if I wanted to pop by for a quick drink, it would mean a few hours out of my day.
I'm probably spending Sunday trying to evict tenants from our new house anyway.
Could I nominate you to have a cold one for me?
Cheers Ned

I was at Tietiesbaai on Sunday but was unable to get any info. There was a jazz festival on and the whole camp site was booked out.
The info board showed the camping fee to be R107 per vehicle. There was nobody from the municipality there to give me further info.
Nico.

I am definitely keen. Have camped there b4. Beautiful bay. Be aware that shower are solar powered, so forget about having a shower in the morning unless one is a hard-core camper
I have the name and telephone no of the manager but will pm you his details. Maybe he can give us a discount if our group size justifies
Regards
Aslam

Lets hope we can get the size up a bit.
I'll put you on the list so long.
