Only need to sort out my driving / steering wandering, whilst on the highway. Not B/Joints nor T/R/E's....already changed them

The hook was R105, if i remember, but they had to drill one hole, to align the 2x bolts.......was strongly advised never to use the towbar, as a rear recovery point.......makes sense too

Is that hook on the REAR???

That is very nice!
I would recommend one change though.
Have two 4mm thick plates cut which will fit below and above the chassis,
this will spread the load and prevent the chassis box section from distorting.
You might need longer bolts

I've also been advised from another person, to merely try to tighten the steering box too. I will give it a try today, and report back.
I also saw that the idler arm has been reconditioned by the previous owner, BUT.....no grease nipple was fitted, AND....bone dry
I have now fitted a greasing nipple & greased with marine grade grease......took quite an amount, but at least peace of mind now

Answering your query about the hook.....YES, It is on the rear.....already have the standard TWO recovery points on the front

Installed my second battery and Redarc DC-DC charger last week. Couldn't fit it in the engine bay, had to mount it inside. Works like a charm though, really brilliant piece of kit that.

Also installed a set of super-awesome Powerbrake discs and matched pads. Have being running these for some time in RodneyMW's paj and they definitely helped brake fade and hard low speed braking (less vibration).

I ran 2 huge cables from the battery to the rear seat storage area and connected a brad harrison plug at the end. This is in anticipation for my dual battery that is in progress.

I also sorted the ridiculous trailer wiring on the pajero that the previous guy did - just twisted together wires with insulation tape.....uuuurgh!

I also upgraded the trailer's lights with some new boxes, reflectors globes, wiring and some new rubberizing.

I have to agree, those disk are "super-awesome".
How much did they set you back by?
Who supplies them?
My Paj is still under maint. plan, but I wouldn't mind getting some of those when the time comes.

They will courier the kit anywhere. Apparently they also have dealers all over the country, but I've always bought directly from them. I've previously fitted their kits to my Audi A3 as well.

The grooving is to remove mud and gunk off the discs. Read the website, Powerbrake really know their stuff.
