Power Steering on 2005 3.2D.i-D

Hi Pajero Forum, I am a new member and very happy to have found you. I own a 2005 LWB 3.2 di-d. She has done 325 000 km without a cough.

Now out of the blue the power steering has become hard at times. She would turn fine and without warning there is a tense on the wheel. I have checked the fluid and it seems fine and I have used the WINS product for power steering problems. My problem is still with me Any advice??

drain the fluid and fill with new fluid. Power steering systems are very robust and funny workings are usually low or old/bad fluid.

Check the condition (and tension) of the V-belt!

Thanks for the prompt response, Going to drain the fluid first thing tomorrow. Will keep you posted.
