Hi all members
I am a newby and thought I would introduce myself.
I am a motocross nut from Port Elizabeth who has been involved in the motocross and racing from as far back as my fathers father. I stumbled upon adventure riding a couple of years ago and gave it a good go and have still go my bike which I do the odd trip on.
Last year I decided to get involved with 4x4 as a way to carry on with adventuring. This came about because a friend of mine had recently bought himself a Landy and also because my girlfried has not yet learned how to ride a bike. So I thought it a great way to continue what I love. Just on four wheels rather than two!
Below is how I came apon buying my first Pajero.
I have just bought my first Pajero (2001 Pajero 3.5 V6 LWB GLS Auto) a few days ago.
I bought a Landy 110 brand new late last year, but just could'nt handle driving it around town and it's rather wide turning circle. The landy I think is most boys dream 4x4 of owning one day and an Iconic vehicle, but it is just not practical and comfortable for every day use.
Thus I decided to go for a good second hand 4x4 which would be more practical and one that I could make a once off payment for and not have to worry about monthy instalments. It was a tough decision as to which vehicle to purchass but I eventualy narrowed it down to the Prado or the Pajero.
After hearing from everybody that I must go the Prado route I was back to square one. Which one do I get? Eventually after lots of searching I came across a place in George selling a Pajero. As much as everyone was telling me to go with the Prado, I just couldnt ignor the Pajero that I had come across.
Good condition, white, low km, and at a very reasonable price. I jumped in my car and took a drive up there and signed the deal and drove it home. After the drive over the weekend I can comfortably say that I have made a wise decission, his car is great!
Cheers

Hi Kent
Welcome to the Pajero family. I hope you will have lots of fun driving these awesome vehicles. Even better, you are from Port Elizabeth. We seem to have very little members here and you are no 2 as far as I know.
Pm me and we can get together and I will give you a club sticker if you want.
