2. Birthday and Age: 29 January 1955 -- 56 years young.
3. Town & Country Of Residence: Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa

5. Occupation/Business: Systems Engineer (Designing aluminium and door- and window systems)
6. Family Status: Married (34 years) with three children. Two sons (26 and 23) and daughter (21). All three unmarried.

8. Current 4x4: 2003 Pajero 3.2 DID GLS Automatic
9. Current Modifications: 15" Aftermarket Wheels with 31x10.5x 15 Tyres
Changing diff ratio from 3.9 to 4.1
Stall on Torque convertor changed
External engine oil cooler added
Extra transmission oil cooler added with temp gauge with three pick-up points.
Engine re-built.
Crank, Crank pully, Conrods, Pistons, Flex plate and torque balanced.
Unichip fitted.
10. Modifications On The Wish List: EXON head light.
Change top rear lights to work and not dummies only
Changes to grill to personalise car (I'm a bit of a crow and would like more
crome to the grill.
11. Vehicle(s) On The Wish List: VW golf as wife's car and general use.
12. Previous 4x4s: 1987 Pajero Turbo Wagon with 3.2 DID engine and manual gearbox.
13. Last 3 Offroad Trips: None
14. Favourite Destination: Kruger National Park and any other places in the wild but my wife wants an ablution block (clean) available
15. Other Hobbies: Kamping (caravan), hobbiest wood turner, reading, cricket and sport lover, chef, braai and spending time with friends an family.
16. GPSr & Map Data Used: Nuvi. Garmap and Trax for Africa.
17. Rate Your 4X4 & Overlanding Experience: Limited. Love my Pajero 4x4 but hardly ever use it for what it is doing the best. Like the big, heavy vehicle for its space, the fact that it is a Pajero, and the power to tow my large caravan.

BoldE4, Jy kom asof jy geroep is. Jy noem dat jy 'n temp meter op jou ratkas het! Hieruit moet ek aflei dat jy 'n automatiese ratkas het en dat jy die olie temp gemonitor het en besluit het dat dit te warm word.
Die vrae is as volg:
a. Is my twee aannames waar?
b. Teen watter temp het die kas geloop voor die addisionele oliekoeler?
c. Waarteen loop die kas nou en het jy dit weer in dieselfde omstandigheid getoets?
d. Het die aansporing om 'n koeler te pas gebeur tydens 'n rit in "donker" Afrika of tydens normale ritte in die RSA?
Ek het al gedink aan die ratkas temp veral as 'n mens in dik sand ry en die ratte wissel tussen eerste en tweede as gevolg van die harde werk.

I see you have some experience with the 3.2 Pajero's already - they are great engines.
It is with interest I read some of your current conversions. I am particularly interested in the following two items on your list
