Hi Guys,
I am seriously looking for someone to advice me where I can find a new set of heater water pipes for my 3.5 l.
I have tried Mitsu and all I get is this:o
I tried looking on their spares parts listing but found none.
I have now tried piping bought at Goodyear but the problem is on my car there is two sizes and the bending from firewall to main water inlet manifold is quite tricky and I can not seem to get it right without pipes bending closed.
I was wondering or these nylon fittings that are used for hosepipe connections etc. is up to the task especially when they will be exposed to heat .
I also can not find any brass fittings which would have been my first choice.
Any help please will do.
My heads are due for return and before I fir them want to change all these pipes.
Regards
I am replying to my own post here:
After my subsiquint fall out with Mitsu it was decided that they will order all the pipes on the system especially the cooling and heating system pipes and I will go and check old against new and pick from that.
Sometimes it helps to be hardeg@t and dish out threats.
So for now I will say thanks to Mitsu in Secunda for their assistance.
I made it clear to management that I have bought over R50 000 worth of spares in the last 18 months and the least they can do is to help or phone a friend.
4X4 yes and not once have I been asked for my Vin Number

Hi
I had the same problem on my 1985 pajero. I used normal heater pipe and where it has a sharp bend I put at hose clamp there to stop it from cripping the pipe closed. Hope this will help
