Re: What have you done to your Pajero today?

It's a little less accurate than the factory fitted ones under 120km/h (+/-5km/h) but over 120km/h it works really well. It also has 2 memory settings, that's besides the "resume" function.
I wish manufacturers incorporated that function as standard. 4 Buttons paired with cruise control that automatically adjust your speed to either 60km/h, 80km/h 100km/h or 120km/h.

Less speed fines. More relaxed travel and more eyes on the road (as they aren't watching the speedo every other second).

This will also mean less overtaking as most people will stick the cruise control to the speed limit.

Fitted new BFG's, busy packing the roof rack with the spade, axe, high lift jack, water tanks and fuel jerry cans. Pumped my rear air shocks up, filled both my fuels tanks, having Kenwood radio's fitted, fitted my Engel 40lt in the back. Then i'm off too Khutse for a week with my newly modified Xcape caravan.

Fitted roofrails last week - luckily they did not need to drill new holes in the roof. Waiting for the new footings then I can fit the roofrack.

Replaced the bushes connecting the front sway bar to the chassis. Replacing all the bushes on the rear sway bar tomorrow. Using Superpro polyurethane bushes, let's see how that works out.

Re: What have you done to your Pajero today?
My motor was removed by Mitspro Freek today and I must say this man knows his Pajeros.
The engine was removed in an hour - must say the haeds were already off and almost everything else but my car is a auto and this also includes loosening the torque converter bolts as well.
According to Freek the motor still looks good but can not wait to have it fitted again to see the change in performance.
Timeline is about three weeks from now as I said I am not much in a hurry as it is not a second vehicle.
Will keep you posted
