Change from manual to auto
Has anybody changed a manual 3.2 DID to an automatic?
I am thinking about a transplant. Do I need to change diff ration as well?

Unles you are / know an electronics wizard, you're in for a bigggg job.

Sell the manual, buy an automatic.

ha ha..that says it all. I will stick to my manual then. She is in such a good nick and has given me such good service. I just cannot sell her...

Hi Oubaas,

Isn't it interesting how people have different preferences?
You have a Manual and would prefer an Automatic and I am exactly the opposite - I would far prefer a Manual to the Automatic Gen3 that I have. Alas, Mitsubishi chose to import only auto's from about 2003 so I am don't really have a choice...

Automatic,the only way to go,just think,no thrust bearing,pressure plate,friction plate to replace,no busting yer chops off to remove the box,select drive and go. :D
