Problems with parts availability?
Just got off the phone with the stealers here in Nelspruit. I wanted 1 x oil fitler, 1 x fuel filter and 1 x air filter for my Gen 3 3,2DID. Apparently they are experiencing problems with Imperial - I can only get the oil filter now, the rest is on a 2-3 week backlog. These are not special items, but everyday parts.

Anyone experiencing this problem yet?

Problems with parts availability?
Same issue...
Asked for front and rear pads -silence.
Tap Tap Tap on keyboard.

"No stock on rear pads"
" no other dealers have ......
jislaaikit, we'll have to try Imperial, mhfph"

"3 weeks boss"

That sums it up....
Seems there's problems with new imperial owners.

Anybody know where I can get rear pads?

Re: Problems with parts availability?
Mac,

I've been waiting for my 90k service items for weeks now. They are down to the last 18 oil filters. I was told that Imperial is moving from a small warehouse to a big one, but their computer system has crashed as well...

TITAN Irrigator,

Some time ago, one of the members mentioned that the brake pads on the Pajero are the same as on the Toyota Land Cruiser 80 / 100. I do not remember the if it was the *0 or 100 series. Suggest you take the pads out and take them as samples to your locak spares shop.

You can also try powerbrake for brake pads if you need, I changed disks and pads for their AT range, and it made a huge improvement on stopping power, I have since used their pads on my golf as well and so far happy, the golf is +- the same as before. I can recommend the AT brake upgrade kit, it is really now able to stop and don't have to get used to the weight of the Paj after driving my Platkar.

Re: Problems with parts availability?
Spares looks to be a problem but funny enough just when I bought my last items for my 3.5 just after the Imperial news my local Mitsu spares guy told me there is going to be a huge problem to come and he reminded me of the time when Merc took over from Ford there was also a huge problem and this is due to companies using different software or systems and to marry all of this will be problamatic for a while.
Re: Problems with parts availability?
Hi guys, The question of brake apds, Some time ago somebody mentioned on this forum that the Toyota Land Cruiser uses the same brake pads as the Pajero, Unfortunately I can not remember whether it was the 80 or 100 series Land cruiser. So, take your pads out, go the the nearest spares dealer and show them the pads and ask for LC pads the are the same.
