Hi All,
I'm considering buying a set of Spot lights as the next upgrade on my Pajero. This leaves me with two questions:
1. What spotlights to buy. Price vs Quality
2. What beam lens will be optimal
3. Will I be able to install them myself?
On the first question I have done some reading and so far I'm considering the KC Daylighters. These are also 130w globes and it seams to have a lot of good reviews. Could any body comment on this?
On the right kind of beam I'm still struggling to make up my mind.
Considering the above light patterns, it is between Driving lights and Long range lights. So far the driving lights are slightly ahead...
My last question is my worry. How difficult is it to install spot lights? Is it something you can do yourself, or is it worth paying one of the 4x4 fitment places a fee to do it professionally?
Please help, your opinions are always appreciated.
To install extra lights must be one of the easier jobs you can tackle. If you Google it, you will find hundreds of links of how to do it.

A chap driving a D4D came to our offices last week, featuring normal spots on each side of his bull bar but also a row of eight LEDs fitted with lenses on the crossbar between the spots. I asked him how they perform and his reply was that it was like driving with a sheet of light in front of him. He switched them on, the light was outstanding, one could not look into the LEDs at all. Stupidly, I did not ask him what make they were but he did mention he bought them from a place in Roodepoort, JHB.
Those LED spots would be well worth a second look if one was able to locate a reseller of them.
