I have a 2007 model LWB Pajero 3.2 GLX D (Gen4?).
When the aircon is on at full blast on a hot day, it is fine in the front two seats. However, anyone sitting in the back is basically deprived of this luxury. The matter becomes a lot worse if the mode is set to blow top and bottom, as there is virtually no cool air coming through the two middle vents in the dashboard in this setting (the side vents on both sides still work fine, as do the two near the feet in the front - very litte air comes out of the vent at the bottom of the armrest facing the back).
The dealer has told me that there is nothing they can do about the lack of air coming through the middle vents in 'top and bottom' mode. I know that the volume of air to be cooled towards the back is huge, but surely I cannot be the only one whose potential passengers politely say 'thanks, but no thanks' on a hot day? What has everyone else done to make life more bearable in the back?
Any tips would be most welcome, Thanks!
