I'm trying to make contact and possibly arrange a group buy from a supplier in the UK that sells these.

These are steel spacers that fit on the front between the arch and the top coil.




These are poly spacers that fit on top of the existing rear coil.




The set gives about 2" of lift on all four corners without affecting spring rate or having to change coils or shocks.

Would anybody be interested?

Both those components look very easy to manufacture.
The dimensions can be taken off the Pajero's struts.
You will need no more than a vernier calliper to measure them.

I have spoken to Chris but he will have to explain if it is possible to get a "group fee". An accurate cost indication will only be possible next week because all the metal suppliers are still "resting" after the December holidays.

I have one question, are all the top strut mountings for the Gen 3 and 4 the same? When Chris made my spacers, I gave him a strut mounting as a sample and he took all the measurements from that one and he could test the spacer that it in fact would fit.

The amount of lift from the rear ones is totally dependant on the length of the replacement bolts that one can get. Remember that the lift from the front spacer is 1,5X the thickness of the spacer. Here you can go to basically any thickness but remember your CV joints can only go that far and then they will begin to bind!

how is the bolt attached to the chassis? (rear coil cup as per image below)

How can I get a longer bolt in there to insert a bigger spacer than what the current bolt thread allows?

4E and all other members contemplating a body lift on their Pajeros,

Easy, take it out from the inside of the car. You will have to remove the rear carpets to get to the bolt recesses. The recesses where the bolts are in, are covered with a silver "paper". These you peel off and Bob is your uncle. The original bolts have an extra piece of metal on the one side - basically like an elongated washer attached to the head - to prevent them from turning. So removing them is a one-man job. You might need e drift to knock them out.

The bolt heads are 19mm and if you want to hold them, you will need a 19mm socket at the top and at the bottom a 19mm and a 24mm socket/ring/open end spanner to undo them. These bolts fit into a sleeve to prevent ham fisted people from squashing the chassis. The "pipes / sleeves" are 16mm and 18mm id. All four bolts are 140mm long and have a thickening about halfway down. I assume this is to locate them properly and to prevent movement - thus preventing movement of the whole subframe / rear suspension.

If you intend to fit spacers, you will have to buy longer bolts (2 x 16mm and 2 x 18mm) plus washers and nuts. The length of the new bolts will dictate how much lift you can get. The original bolts are cadmium plated so I had mine also plated to prevent rust.

To went to a scrap metal dealer to find a flat piece of metal that was 30mm thick. If you go to the metal dealers the chances are that you will have to buy a big sheet to cut your spacers from. Finding the correct thickness metal for the spacers is the biggest slep. The rest is easy.

That makes sense and it would lift the rear entire subframe?

Yes, four bolts. The lift that you can get is totally dependant on the length of the new bolts. The standard ones are 140mm long. So, if you can get 180mm bolts, you can lift the rear end by 40mm, etc.

The lift is basically moving the whole body upwards by eg 40mm away from the rear suspension subframe. Unfortunately the ground clearance below the subframe and suspension parts stays the same but the body is moved upwards by the amount of lift thus giving a greater break-over angle and better departure angle.
